How We Got Here
In the spring of 2002, a group of Christians prayed and searched for a place where God wanted us to share his good news and build his kingdom. We found Lakeside. It moved us by its beauty and by the openness of the people who lived there. On our first visit, one neighbor told us, "If God is sending you to our neighborhood, he's sending you to the right place."
Later that year, we began to move our own homes into the neighborhood. Since then, we have built six houses and joined our neighbors for Bible studies and barbecues. Now God has moved our hearts to start a school for the children of the neighborhood, as well as for our own children, as the next step to help them grow into the full stature of sons and daughters of God.
